Fall Enrollment begins on Tuesday, March 30, at 2 PM and continues weekly through July
Capital IDEA Houston's Information Sessions- also known as "Go To College Free Workshops" - for Fall 2021 Enrollment Starts on March 30, 2021, at 2 PM.
Capital IDEA Houston will be piloting a new format geared toward assisting individuals interested in receiving an education sponsorship to the program with beginning the application process with members of the Eligibility Team during the session.
Applicants will now be able to complete their preliminary profile and have their profile activated on the spot. Once this is completed, they will also set their appointment with the eligibility team which will happen within the week.
All applicants will be asked to upload their documents to the system prior to the eligibility appointment to avoid delays in the enrollment process.
Other Things You Need To Know About the New Go To College Free Workshop Format
- The Information Session may last at least two hours. Ensure you're in a comfortable space prior to joining the call. Please have your Zoom camera and lights on, and be ready to engage in the presentation.
- We know life can be hectic but we ask that you not multitask during the presentation. If you need to do something else- cooking, shopping, babysitting- we certainly understand, and kindly ask that you register for a time more convenient to you. Schedule your activities around the Information Session so you can be fully present in the session, so you don't miss any important information.
- If you need to leave in the middle of the presentation because you have something else scheduled, that's okay. We ask that you go to the website and reschedule for a time that will allow you to sit through the full presentation so you can begin the application process.
- Once you've begun the application process, you will need to upload your eligibility documents into our system. You can prepare for this by getting those documents ready and having them on hand. You will be required to have all documents uploaded before your eligibility appointment which you will schedule at the end of the presentation.
