Capital IDEA Houston and its beneficiaries would like to extend a thank you to JP Morgan Chase & C0. for their support to STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Math) training programs and our vision, through the donation of $100,000.00 USD for educational grants destined to support Harris County residents seeking to complete one of our sponsored careers in any of these disciplines, but suffer a financial limitation.
Thanks to this collaboration, Capital IDEA Houston continues connecting people to their future through educational opportunities that lead to life-long financial independence.
This partnership helps create pathways to opportunity by promoting and supporting community members through financial and special assistance in formal education, and promoting workforce development through educational grants towards academic programs from the STEM fields.
With two main types of sponsored programs (Associate's Degree or Certificate), these grants bring accepted participants closer to this life-long financial independence through sponsorships that includes college preparation, tuition, guidance, books, childcare and even job placement assistance after successfully finishing the career of their choice, which may include areas like Petroleum Engineering, Process Technology, and Diesel Engine Mechanic Technology, among others.
